Job Description

Duties to include: Maintaining the Hyperion applications Preparation of System/Application documentation Supporting and developing Data Interfaces using FDM Making controlled configuration changes to the applications in order to meet the needs of Finance and Actuarial planning and reporting. Using the application Report Writer to maintain and develop reports for and with users Assessing and deploying new functionality Working with the user community to ensure optimum use and development of the system Providing application training to the user community Managing the Hyperion metadata using EPMA Providing on call support out of hours, on a rota basis The role requires individuals of graduate/A-level calibre The role ideally requires the postholder to have accomplished/be working towards a recognised accounting qualification eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA Track record of identifying and analysing problems, identifying & evaluating options, deploying sound decision making skills. A minimum of 1 year\'s experience of administering a global Hyperion Planning environment. Extensive experience of managing data movements in and out of Hyperion Planning. Experience of working with P&L, B/S and cashflow reports and a demonstrable understanding of how they link together Demonstrable evidence of interpreting & manipulating complex multidimensional data models clearly and accurately with the ability to create calculations and perform adhoc analysis Desirable: Experience in a Financial Services environment Experience of working with Hyperion V11 and EPMA in a complex environment Experience with the use of SQL.
