An excellent position has become available for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in London to work at a Medium Sized nursing home that cares for elderly residents as well as residents that suffer from Dementia.

Whilst working on a night shift pattern your responsibilities will be to;

Assess residents care needs, provide health supervision and direct nursing care.
Ensure all equipment is clean and well maintained.
Report any ill health amongst clients and make requests for GP / Professional visits where necessary.
Participate in staff and client meetings as and when required.
Ensure a clear and concise handover report is given to all relevant staff members at the end of each shift.
Carry out regular checks on clients at intervals determined by the home manager.
Assess social and health care needs of new clients, and maintain on-going assessment and review of all other clients.


Requirements
Must have a RGN qualification with experience of working with elderly care within a nursing home setting
Adaptability within the working environment
Satisfactory completion of a CRB & POVA Check
Thorough knowledge and understanding of the CQC standards
