One of the world\'s leading providers of financial market intelligence, investment research and data is seeking a Senior/Lead Pricing Analyst.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst/Securities Analyst/Bond Analyst (Fixed Income, Securities) are to both monitor, analyse, research and maintain large amounts of financial market information on a daily basis to enable the daily valuation of European Government, Corporate, HY en Emerging Market securities through the Company\'s internal pricing systems; and act as head of desk, providing structure and guidance for the relevant analysts.

MAIN TASKS
> The Pricing Analyst/Securities Analyst/Bond Analyst (Fixed Income, Securities) will Research European Fixed Income markets using established tools such as Bloomberg, Reuters and FinCad. Gather and interpret Trade and market price information to enable the maintenance of spread and performance information on a defined universe of securities
> Lead projects to enhance current product offering. Research new bond structures and investigate the market approach to pricing and assumptions used.
> Presentation of pricing process and methodology will be required. This involves presenting to both internal departments and clients (existing and prospective) the Company\'s market approach pricing methodology. This will include the explanation of how the Company interprets market information received and how information is used to determine security assumptions.
> Daily liaison with colleagues in New York and London will be required

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
# The Pricing Analyst/Securities Analyst/Bond Analyst (Fixed Income, Securities) will have gained an in-depth knowledge of the European Fixed Income markets with significant exposure to valuation/bond analysis of the different bond structures in the market.
# Highly computer literate with an excellent knowledge of Excel/Access. Previous experience using market systems and sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters and FinCad to analyse bond structures and pricing of securities is essential.
# Able to work within a team, while directing other desk members, and to work under the daily time pressures of providing intra day valuations on the European non structured universe.
# Strong and effective communication and presentation skills as presentations will be given to internal and external parties.
# The position is a senior role on a desk of analysts, therefore requires experience of leadership.
