We have an opening for a Project Leader/Product Engineer

Your role will be to:
Agree the product development brief.
Develop and agree the project plan and budget.
Develop and agree the product\'s overall architecture and resolve the key technical issues.
Manage all internal and external, full and part time project resources to meet the brief, the plan and the budget.
Monitor and report progress against plan and budget regularly.
Ensure that technical notes and reports are produced when appropriate.
Deliver a full set of product documentation.
Ensure the product meets the design specification by design evaluation, testing and field trials etc.
To take responsibility for the manufacturing process and associated documentation for each of the products within their responsibility.
To work with the market manager and business unit manager to train the salesforce and customer applications on the product line and provide customer facing support when appropriate.
To work with QA and supply chain departments to ensure the products are designed, tested and manufactured to the highest standards.
You will need experience in project leadership and product development in instrumentation.
Production engineering experience desirable.
You will need to be a results orientated people manager and a good communicator.

Essential: Proven track record in project management.

Desirable: BSc Hons Mechanical Engineering.

35k plus company car
