Job Description

A Business Development Representative (Lead Generator) is sought to join this company in London Waterloo, to generate primary leads in the busy sales department.

Over the last 25 years, this organisation has provided innovative technology solutions and services designed specifically for the not-for-profit and arts and cultural sectors only, helping them meet their most critical challenges on a daily basis. Our client is the only company that deals solely with the NFP sector.

TITLE: Business Development Representative (Lead Generator)
LOCATION: London Waterloo
SALARY: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (dependant on experience) BENEFITS: Life assurance, Interest free season ticket loan, private Health & Dental care, Marriott Hotels Gym Membership, Accor Childcare Vouchers, Computer Purchase, Eye Tests and contributory pension (after qualifying period)

They are now looking for a Business Development Representative (Lead Generator), confident with excellent communication skills to target key prospects, identify appropriate contacts and book appointments for the Account Executives which will ultimately generate new sales of software and services.

The ideal Business Development Representative (Lead Generator) will possess:

  • €¢ A degree, or equivalent

  • €¢ Proven telesales experience with high outbound call volume, ideally selling technical products

  • €¢ Excellent communication skills and telephone manner

  • €¢ Excellent listening skills

  • €¢ Computer literacy and key systems skills and knowledge (i.e. MS Office, Outlook)

  • €¢ A highly proactive and results orientated attitude

To succeed in this role as a Business Development Representative (Lead Generator) you will be expected to:

  • €¢ Handle inbound calls from organisations which could lead to potential new business

  • €¢ Cold calling organisations who have been identified as potential prospects

  • €¢ Following up on marketing campaigns

  • €¢ Constructively work as part of the sales team, sharing ideas, knowledge and resources

  • €¢ Contribute positively to your own personal development through participation in coaching, training, and job shadowing
